Irene Strong Rules

Entrants must be a member of a club in Monmouthshire.

Each club should enter 3 players for the event.

The cost of entry is £2.00 per person playing in the qualifying round or £20 per team whichever is the greater. The entry fee should be paid via bank transfer or cheque made payable to MLCGA - please quote the club name and the competition name if paying via cheque.

It is suggested that each participating club hold an 18-hole stableford competition. This can be held in conjunction with another competition if desired. There is a handicap index cap of 40.0.

The team of 3 will be selected from the competitors playing in the qualifying event.

Either the club secretary or lady’s secretary should enter the names and contact details of the persons representing their club. The qualifying names should be entered on-line via the website or if necessary, send the details of the qualifiers to:

The Secretary will undertake a draw so that the individual team members play with players from other clubs.
The best total score of the three team members will win the Irene Strong Silver Salver plus vouchers.
Team members may be substituted up to the tee time of the competition so long as they took part in the qualifying round.
